Passing through the Aiguilles d'Arves refuge guarded in winter, this hike offers a very beautiful spectacle under the 3 Aiguilles d'Arves. It is most often carried out in 2 days with a night at the refuge. Wide and gentle slopes for hikers who want to ski without being afraid.

Les Sarrasins pass(3126 m) or Petit Jean pass(3065 m)

Climb up the valley via the Aiguilles d'Arves refuge. 2 passes side by side and 2 varied routes between gentle slopes and reasonable inclinations. To reach the passes: it is advisable to do this hike in 2 days with a night at the refuge.

Between the Aiguille Centrale (3513 m) and the Aiguille Méridionale (3514 m), this pass offers a magnificent overhanging panorama. The elevation is impressive to get there, although it can be done in the day, it is advisable to do it in 2 days with a night at the Aiguilles d'Arves refuge guarded in winter.

Aiguille d'Argentière couloir(3237 m)

Magnificent couloir of 1000 m vertical drop, aesthetic and demanding, it is reserved for very good skiers and with an entry at 50° for a few meters then 35° to 45° thereafter. As the approach is long, it is advisable to complete this outing in 2 days with a night at the Aiguilles d'Arves refuge.

Required level
A good physical condition is required for the practice of this sporting activity. It is essential to have a good ski or snowboard level: permanent control of your speed and trajectory; be used to ride off-piste in changing and sometimes deep snow.

It is essential to have civil liability insurance to take part in our outings.
It is mandatory to take out Assistance, Retrieval, Search and Rescue insurance. Check with your insurer that you are well covered for this specific activity, otherwise we recommend the Individual Accident Lycea insurance solution, which can be subscribed online, for the day or more, depending on the practiced activity.
